Diisononyl phthalate

Diisononyl phthalate (DINP) is a high-performance primary plasticizer, with its main applications covering the following areas:

I. Core Applications in Plastic Products Plasticization

1. Primary Plasticizer for PVC

   • Used in soft and hard polyvinyl chloride (PVC) products (such as toy films, wire and cable sheaths, floor leather, artificial leather, etc.), significantly enhancing material flexibility, weather resistance, and processing fluidity. It exhibits excellent compatibility with PVC, and even with large additions, it does not migrate out.
   • It serves as a replacement for traditional phthalates (such as DOP), offering higher plasticizing efficiency, lower volatility, and reduced migration, thereby extending the lifespan of the products.

2. Modification of Other Polymers

   • Used in cellulose resins and synthetic rubbers (such as rubber, chloroprene rubber) to improve low-temperature brittleness resistance, elasticity, and aging resistance;
   • Acts as a plasticizing component in SBS adhesives and polyurethane sealants, enhancing elongation at break.
